Mr Ong Beng Choon has been teaching in Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Primary School for 25 years. He was amongst the pioneer batch of band directors who has graduated from the National Institute of Education with a specialist Diploma in Band Directing. Besides, he has clinched the Best Conductor Award at the Balloon Hat Festival 2005
